Sigma 51 Introduction

Movies take us to places we can never see and make us meet people we can never meet. Everybody yearns for a dream like reality and movies let us live just that.
Sigma51 is an event where the summation of our talents, skills, enthusiasm and passion are poured in an hour glass to make 51short films in just 10 days (production and post production).
At the count of 10 we are sure to bring out an experience yet to be discovered.
WHY SIGMA51?
Sigma 51 is a unique project undertaken by FTFM. Its aim is to create a belief and confidence among amateur filmmakers to make films in low budget and with professional quality. It also aspires to project the vision of FTFM all over the nation.
It is basically a process of creating a new pathway for upcoming Independent Filmmakers.
It involves interaction with intellectual brains resulting in an amalgamation of experience and fresh ideas, a foundation for innovation.
On the whole, Sigma 51 is about defining new ways of independent Filmmaking and setting milestones for future Filmmakers
About FTFM
First Time Film Makers (FTFM) is an NGO based in Ahmedabad, started on 25th Jan 2006. It constitutes of a wide spectrum of individuals- Doctors, Engineers, Designers, Artists, Actors, Bollywood Professionals, Media Professionals, Lawyers, Journalists, RJs and Students. FTFM is creating a platform for people who have passion for filmmaking and want to build a career in filmmaking or want to pursue it as a hobby. Sigma 51 is one of the initiatives by FTFM to bring our aspirations of combining the best of creative minds and creating a phenomenon in the world of filmmaking to fruition.
Passion for filmmaking, daring to deviate from the norm and Dedication, these qualities define a true FTFMite.
